Terms of Enrolment
You can make enrolments and course payments online or you can call the office on 9600 1194.
Payment for course and textbooks must be made at least two weeks prior to the commencement of your course. Unpaid fees for tuition and texts for students who are attending class will be referred to an agency and they may seek to recover any associated costs.
Lyceum classes have a minimum of 5 students. The average is 8 students per class.
Groups of 3 and 4 students run at the discretion of Administration and the tuition fee remains unchanged.
For 5 or more students, the course is completed in 10 lessons.
For 3 or 4 students, the course is completed in 9 lessons.
After the first three lessons have passed, and it becomes less likely that any more students will join, the finishing dates will be amended accordingly and published on the timetable on our website.
Texts are to be paid for in advance along with your tuition fees. Texts are then available for collection at your first lesson.
Refunds less 10% processing fee can be given if students apply for a refund at least two working days prior to the commencement of the course. After this point, fees are not refundable.
Textbooks cannot be refunded after they have been collected.
Students are entitled to a full refund if we cancel the class that they have enrolled in.
Credit is not available except in exceptional circumstances and only if notice of withdrawal is received via email with a doctors certificate, work statement or such, before the end of week three. If credit is offered the maximum available is for 70% and in order to redeem the credit you will be required to pay for 30% of the course you join in the following 12 month period from date of issue.
Credit notes are not transferable and must be provided to reception with ID and the 30% payment, before course commencement.
Credit is subject to the continued provision of your desired course by Lyceum.
Registration at first lesson
Students are asked to register at reception ten minutes prior to their first lesson, when they can also pick up any books that they have paid for. If you require a receipt, please request it at reception.
Minimum age for enrolment is 18 years unless enrolling with an adult family member in which case the minimum age is 16 years of age.
