Lyceum is a nationally registered school teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) and Languages Other Than English (LOTE).

Lyceum English Language Australia is looking for a talented, hard working Administrator who wants a position with bright possibilities in the field of educational administration.

On the job training provided for all aspects of Job.

Duties include: Apply policies and practices to organise and prioritise work to solve problems arising in own work area. Answering public enquiries regarding English study/Foreign Languages, advising students on content, teaching strategy etc. Marketing our courses to educational agents throughout the world. Liaising between administrators, teachers and students. Collection of fees.

We are seeking a highly motivated person with tertiary qualifications with a strong interest in one or more of the following: English language, Languages other than English, Administration, Human Resources, Education and Small Business.

In this role there are very good prospects for promotion and may include overseas travel. We are keen to encourage rapid acquisition of new skills and are looking for someone who will be able to show strong initiative in supporting the Directors and the School Co-ordinator and in expanding the business. This may include the responsibility to select and induct new staff (essentially teachers), timetable classes and maintain quality throughout the school.

Selection Criteria:

We require good VCE & undergraduate results. You will have excellent spoken and written English and a friendly disposition. You will be a confident and supportive person with excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent attention to detail is a requirement of staff here, and an ability to work productively in a team as well as an ability to work reliably and independently.

Indicative Work Hours: Mon-Thurs 8.30am-6pm and Fridays 8.30am-1.30pm.
